Perched on the edge of the Arnhem Land escarpment, Karnamarr camping area boasts breathtaking views.

There’s no need to book ahead as it is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. The on-site campground manager will collect your camping fees.

From here you’ll have easy access to the magnificent Jim Jim and Twin Falls - from the campsite, Jim Jim Falls is 10 km and Twin Falls is 18 km.

The spectacular red-tailed black cockatoo is a common sight here and is responsible for the campsite’s name – Karnamarr is ‘red-tailed black cockatoo’ in the Kunwinjku language.
