In Kakadu you’re spoilt for choice, with plenty of secluded billabongs to get your fishing and boating fix.

This small billabong has pretty shady camp areas, and is good for catching classic barramundi, or go the extra mile and see if you can snag a saratoga - however, we do encourage you to catch and release these special fish.

Two kilometres further down the road from Red Lily Billabong (Djunda), you’ll need to pass one creek crossing early in the year, but it dries out as the dry season progresses.

Reach it from either the Arnhem Highway (27 km on a dirt road) or from the Old Darwin Road.
