Join a local Bininj (Aboriginal) on this easy, quiet walk through savanna woodlands and paperbark forest, all framing a billabong teeming with bird life.

Anbangbang Billabong is an incredible part of Kakadu so be sure to bring your binoculars so you can try and spot some magpie geese, green pygmy geese, egrets, comb-crested jacanas, cormorants, corellas and red-tailed black cockatoos, just to name a few!

Distance: Any portion of the 3.4km return track (dependent on group and accessibility)

Grade: Grade 2 learn more about AWTGS grades

Accessibility: Part of the walk is wheelchair accessible, including the path to the picnic table area.
