The fern-leaved grevillea’s standout features are its stunning orange flowers and long silver leaves.

This showy plant can be seen along many walking tracks in Kakadu, especially in open tropical woodlands. It blooms between May and September, when its bright flowers and sweet nectar attract a wide variety of birds.

Culture

Bininj/Mungguy people eat the flowers or shake the nectar into water to make a sweet drink.
