We are writing to advise that Traditional Owners of Kakadu National Park have requested that areas of the park be closed for cultural reasons, following the passing of a Traditional Owner.

**Ubirr, Merl campground, Burrungkuy (Nourlangie), Anbangbang and Narwurlandja will be closed from today, Thursday 5 December and will reopen at 9.00 am on Monday 9 December 2019. **

Also included are Manggarre rainforest walk, Bardedjilidji walk, Cahills Crossing viewing platform and both the East Alligator River upstream boat ramp and downstream boat ramps.
