Waived park entry fees announced
The Australian Government has announced that park entry fees will be waived for visitors to Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa, Kakadu and Booderee National Parks from 16 March to 31 December 2020.
This important announcement will promote visitation and further support the range of stimulus measures currently in place for the tourism sector, including the Holiday Here this Year campaign, which encourages Australians to holiday domestically.
Visitors will still need to book a park pass however these will be available at no cost and can be booked here. The fee waiver applied to park entry fees only. Other fees including camping remain in effect.
We encourage visitors to make the most of this opportunity to get free entry into some our nation’s most spectacular national parks and start planning their next trip. Our Parks Australia staff look forward to welcoming you.
