This magical location boasts a gorgeous cascading waterfall set in lush surroundings.
This is a challenging campground to get to, taking about three hours to navigate the 60 km 4WD track to the camping area.
4WD vehicles are essential, and you will need to engage 4WD mode to navigate this track.
You can park at the end of this track and do a day visit or camp in the gorge itself. The gorge is a challenging 4 km walk from the car park through open woodlands and monsoon thickets to the cascades.
This is a true bush camping experience and there are no facilities provided.
Bilkbilkmi (Graveside) gorge is a very special place for Traditional Owners. One week per month the area is closed for their use.
