Kambolgie campground
If you are not into large campgrounds this small, peaceful spot is a real treat for a few nights of outback camping.
There’s no need to book ahead as it is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. The on-site campground manager will collect your camping fees.
Situated in the Mary River region, the campground is close to several stone country highlights. You’re only 15 minutes from the Yurmikmik walks, 45 minutes from Gunlom and about an hour from Jarrangbarnmi.
The facilities here are basic, but Kambolgie is open all year round and is only 15 km off the Kakadu Highway.
