Maguk campground

Maguk campground

Bush camping at its best, Maguk offers quiet surrounds a short walk from one of Kakadu’s most popular visitor sites.

There’s no need to book ahead as it is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. The on-site campground manager will collect your camping fees.

This is the perfect place to stay when exploring the 1 km walk through lush monsoon rainforest and across a rocky creek bed.

Then head back to camp when you’re ready for a feed and a Kakadu sunset!

Staying safe at Kakadu
