The Gunlom area including the plunge pool, campground and day use area, lookout and pools above the falls, are closed at the request of the Traditional Owners until further notice. Please do not attempt to access these areas.

Thank you for your understanding.

Gunlom’s campground facilities provide for a comfortable stay and each morning you’ll wake to the call of lorikeets, honey eaters, galahs and kookaburras.

There’s no need to book ahead as it is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. The on-site campground manager will collect your camping fees.

If you’re up bright and early, try the 2.5 km return walk leading to Murrill Billabong and the South Alligator River.
