Cooinda Lodge
Situated in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Cooinda Lodge is the perfect base to explore central and southern Kakadu including Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls, Maguk Gorge, Motor Car Falls and the Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock Art Site.
The village style resort is located beneath a canopy of trees beside Yellow Water Billabong, home to world-renowned Yellow Water Cruises, where crocodiles, birds and an array of wildlife can be seen on the flood plain amongst paperbark and pandanus trees and fresh water mangroves.
With its oasis style atmosphere, Cooinda Lodge offers two inviting shaded swimming pools, bistro-style dining, a bar, petrol station and a store that offers locally made crafts as well a wide range of essentials for touring.
Accommodation options include 48 fully refurbished hotel lodge rooms with own ensuite and 20 double and family Outback Retreat glamping tents, which provide high-quality bedding, air-conditioning, private verandas, and a dedicated amenities block in its own exclusive site.
