Kunmadj – learn the art of weaving
Have you ever wondered how beautiful Top End Aboriginal natural fibre weavings are created? In this session you will learn how to weave using 100% natural and locally sourced materials.
Join local Daluk (Aboriginal woman), Aunty Julie and learn the technique for weaving, as used to create baskets, bags, fans, mats, jewellery and more.
For cultural reasons the weaving workshop is for female participants only. Men are welcome to watch.
