Bukbukluk lookout walk

A lovely little spot for a picnic lunch, this short, pretty walk is suitable for all the family.

Enjoy views of old Goodparla Station and the southern hills and ridges.

Wildlife

Keep an eye out for treecreepers and the endemic hooded parrot.

Culture

Bukbukluk is named for the pheasant coucal, called bukbuk by Traditional Owners.

The first 50 - 100 metres of the walk is wheelchair accessible and leads to some picnic tables - a perfect spot to soak up the glorious Kakadu surroundings.
