Hike up to the Gunlom Falls natural infinity pool with views for miles across Kakadu.

After a short, steep climb up the escarpment, you’ll be rewarded with a great view of the southern hill and ridges.

Another 100 metres along the track brings you to a series of rock pools and a small waterfall. Please be cautious while walking around the pools above the falls as the polished rock can be extremely slippery when wet.

Back in the picnic area you can use the free gas barbecues to cook up some lunch or take a 2-minute walk through the paperbarks to the amazing plunge pool viewing area.

The path to the first viewing spot is wheelchair accessible.

Wildlife

You might spot rainbow fish swimming in the plunge pools.
