Ranger viewing Jim Jim Falls

Kakadu’s waterfalls reflect the majesty of this world-heritage listed national park and are a major attraction for visitors.

They’re not just tremendous in variety, from the towering Jim Jim and Twin Falls to secluded cascades amid monsoon forests, but capture Kakadu’s dramatic seasonal change.

In the dry they remain relatively sedate with bushwalking and camping both great ways to experience them. In the wet season however many become roaring torrents where scenic flights reveal their epic power.
