Damper making
Damper making

Join the circle of Daluk (Aboriginal women) as they host a traditional bush tucker cook-up.

Enjoy foraged foods, damper with Kakadu plum jam, and a local delicacy, magpie goose (subject to availability).

Magpie goose is traditionally cooked over an open fire, roasted, or stewed with native herbs and spices. These cook-ups are more than just about food. They are cultural gatherings where stories are shared, and traditions are passed down through generations.

Preparation begins at 10 am, with tastings available at various times throughout the day.
