Yoga on Country
Start your morning with renewed energy, connecting with the wisdom of natural cycles and practising deep listening with the living landscape.
New to Taste of Kakadu, this session is more than a yoga class. This Yoga on Country experience is an invitation to tune into your own inner landscape while sensing the presence of Country and its cycles around you.
Join Cristina Aranzubia, who lives and works alongside the Kakadu Bininj/ Mungguy aboriginal and non-aboriginal community. With 15 years of yoga practice, her teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga follows the linage of renowned yogi T. Krishnamacharya.
Her training was enriched by guidance from Aboriginal yoga teachers across Australia who embrace both ancient philosophies. With further training in somatic embodiment, the chakra energy systems of the body and a number of cultural awareness trainings; you will be guided by her calm and grounded energy — a welcoming space, supportive and accessible for everyone.
Build greater self-awareness and strength in your body, tune into your intuition and start your journey towards deep listening.
