Located near the boundary of Arnhem Land, Manbiyarra (Border Store) is a Kakadu institution.

In 2021, Injalak Arts opened a pop-up shop at this iconic site in Kakadu National Park.

This Indigenous-Owned charitable non-profit organisation, sells paintings on bark and paper, weavings and sculpture as well as hand-screen printed fabric lengths.

Permits to Arnhem Land are currently limited to visitors, so if you wish to visit, you can book tours of rock art sites in Arnhem Land at the Border Store or online with Kakadu Cultural Tours.

The Border Store is conveniently located near Cahills Crossing and Ubirr Rock Art site.

Opening times:

The Injalak Arts pop-up at Manbiyarra (Border Store) operates between late-May and October each year when it is open from 10 am to 4 pm, 7 days a week.

You can browse and purchase their art online. All items offered for sale are made in Gunbalanya (Oenpelli) and the homelands, and all arts and crafts sold through this store will include a Certificate of Authenticity.
