Kakadu National Park’s spectacular Jim Jim Falls will open to visitors at 6.30 am this Saturday 12 July.

Known for its towering cliffs and seasonal waterfall, Jim Jim is a highlight for many visiting the park and a key destination during the dry season.

The site was nearly ready to open in May, when unseasonal rain damaged access roads and required further repairs and clean-up work.

Park rangers have been working hard to prepare the site and have completed essential crocodile surveys for visitor safety.

Karnamarr Campground will also open at 5 pm on Friday, 11 July.

Maguk Falls is scheduled to open in mid July - please refer to the Kakadu Access Report for the latest updates on site accessibility across the park.
