A section of Maguk Road from chainage 2.0km to 8.6km will be lifted, upgraded and sealed to improve flood immunity and reduce road closures.
The Maguk day use track will also be upgraded and realigned from chainage 0.0km to 1.6km to improve access and for environmental protection.
Improvements to safety and wet season protection are the key objectives of this upgrade.
Maguk Road will remain open during construction works, using traffic management controls.
