Waterfalls
This part of the park is home to the iconic Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls.
These spectacular waterfalls are best seen by air during the tropical summer, when heavy rains send huge volumes of water crashing into the gorge below. During the dry season, you can hike over boulders to the base of the falls.

Walks
Immerse yourself in rugged natural surroundings as you navigate challenging walking tracks to the Arnhem Land plateau.
Jim Jim Falls features a 2 km return walk through monsoon forest and over boulders to a deep pool. The waterfall flows from the start of the tropical summer until mid-July.
The walk to the base of Twin Falls gorge is currently closed for a major infrastructure upgrade. However you can experience the falls from above on the Twin Falls plateau walk – a challenging 6 km return hike with jaw-dropping views down into the gorge and across to remote, unspoilt wilderness.
Camping
Spend the night at the nearby Karnamarr campground, which has great views of the Arnhem Land escarpment.
Tours
The area can be accessed on a guided tour with friendly, experienced guides. Day tours are available departing from Cooinda.
